SCARY SCENE: KMBC 9 reporters Bianca Beltran and Matt Flener KMBC were escorted out of Community Christian Church on Sunday night by officers after having to take refuge from protests near the Country Club Plaza. As they were leaving, Beltran said officers told them, “YOU NEED TO GO NOW.” One of KMBC 9’s news vehicles was damaged near the church. “I am grateful we are safe,” Beltran said. | KMBC 9
